Mukesh Ambani meets CM Chandrababu Naidu, plans to build electronic park in Tirupati

Amaravathi: Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani’s met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in Tuesday in the AP Secretariat. Reliance has come up with an aim to set up an electronics park in 150 acres in Tirupati. It will set up 10 million Jiophones, TVs, Chip Designs, Batteries and Set Box Boxes.  With respect to the electronics equipment, Reliance has been ready to take up 80 per cent of its specific target.

Various proposals for investments in AP are discussed with Mukesh Ambani. The Civil Service Centers will be set up in 5,000 villages to provide various kinds of Internet based services to the people from the government. In the 50 acres of Amaravati, Which is compatible environment for development of digital infrastructure, telecom and IT startup  and the creation of Andhra Pradesh as a data super power, will help the state government to develop Amaravati as an impressive city. Around 150 MW solar power plant and data center will be set up at Peddapuram of East Godavari district.

Later, the Mukesh Ambani visited the real-time governance center at the complex.

“I have never come across any such center so far in the country. The state government can patent it and earn a lot of revenue by replicating it in other states,” he said.

Mukesh Ambani, who arrived in Vijayawada at a special flight from Mumbai, spent nearly five hours in Amravati. He was greeted at the airport by Nara Lokesh. They then reached the secretariat in the helicopter. Mukesh, who is in the secretariat from 6 pm to 7.50 pm, arrived at the residence of the Chief Minister at Ullavalli and took his dinner party. At 11 o’clock in the night, he went back.
